Sessions and Sail voyages in the Mediterranean/Aeolian Islands

In September 2026 we're headed back to the Mediterranean with another voyage around the Aeolian Islands and Calabrian Coast.

Our Mediterranean voyages take place aboard Florette, a beautiful wooden brigantine originally built to carry marble. Now she's run by the Haynes family, who know the area, its waters, coasts anchorages intimately!

Florette operates a half-board arrangement where one meal each day is taken ashore (unless on passage at sea). This gives you the opportunity to fully take advantage of the famous restaurants and exceptional local produce! Some of these dinner arrangements may be followed by a music sessions ashore.

On our voyages aboard Florette, your sailing crew will be the ship's permanent crew of five; in addition you will sail with two Sessions and Sail tutors who will run workshops and sessions, and will give instrumental and song guidance and tuition throughout the trip.

For more information on our Mediterranean voyages see the voyage listings on our home page.

Florette

Florette is a 40 metre brigantine operated by the Haynes family and flagged in Malta.

She features some stunning outdoor areas with varnished wood and awnings - perfect for enjoying the mediterranean climate, or a few tunes around the main hatch!

Cabins are below decks where you have the option of two comfortable doubles, suitable for couples; four 2-berth cabins with single bunks; and three larger, multi-bunk (4 or 6) cabins which are still comfortable but come at a slightly reduced price.
